Prosecutor's Office Searches Mukomuko Hospital Investigating Allegations Of Irregularities In The 2016-2021 Budget

BENGKULU - The Mukomuko District Attorney's Office (Kejari) continues to investigate cases of alleged irregularities in the financial management of the Mukomuko Hospital for the 2016-2021 fiscal year. Today, investigators searched the Mukomuko Hospital.

"The prosecutor's office conducted a search and confiscated a number of files and documents in this regional public hospital," said the Director of the Mukomuko Syafriadi District Hospital in Mukomuko, Bengkulu, Wednesday 15 March, as reported by Antara.

Mukomuko Attorney General's Office investigators conducted a search of the finance room at the Mukomuko Hospital, the Hospital Administration room, and the medical records room at the hospital.

Meanwhile, Syafriadi explained that the Prosecutor's Office had obtained the BPKP audit results related to the financial management of the Hospital at the request of an audit from the local district government.

Based on the report on the results of the BPKP examination, it was found that the hospital owed IDR 14 billion to third parties who provide goods in the form of medicines.

Then the local Kejari investigators had previously examined the witnesses and from the results of the examination, the number of suspects, in this case, is likely to be more than one person.

A number of witnesses have been asked for statements, starting from the current Director of the Hospital and the Director of the old Hospital.

Irregularities in the financial management of the RSUD for the past 6 years, he said, resulted in regional government-owned hospitals having a debt of IDR 14 billion. This debt has the potential to cause state losses.
