Pertamina Patra Niaga Sells Sulfur Products 2,800 MT

JAKARTA - PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Subholding Commercial & Trading (SH C&T) West Java Region (JBB) sold 2,800 Metric Tons (MT) of granular sulfur products to PT South Pacific Viscose located in the Purwakarta area, West Java.

The first process of product handover was carried out at Tanjung Priok Port, Jakarta on 11-12 March 2023 which was led and monitored directly by the JBB Corporate Sales Region Manager, JBB Petrochemical Region Sales Area Manager, Petrochemical Industry Business Team, and JBB Corporate Sales Region Team.

JBB Region Corporate Sales Manager, Arif Rahman said, the granular sulfur products being marketed were imported ex-trading products which were marketed in the domestic market.

"The sale of ex-trading sulfur products to South Pacific Viscose is the initial foundation for Pertamina Patra Niaga to be able to add a portfolio of petrochemical products in the domestic market in accordance with the Go Petchem slogan as one of the market expansion strategies towards independence to carry out independent production of sulfur products and others through domestic petrochemical refineries in 2025," said Arif in an official statement, Wednesday, March 15.

Area Manager Communication, Relations & CSR Region JBB, Eko Kristiawan explained that the sale of granular sulfur from Pertamina Patra Niaga to South Pacific Viscose was a good start for the parties to start B2B cooperation for the long term.

"Hopefully this cooperation can be continued," concluded Eko.
