Regarding The IDR 7 Million Electric Motorbike Subsidy, Sri Mulyani's Subrdinate: We Are Looking For The Budget
JAKARTA - Director General (Dirjen) Budget of the Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) Isa Rachmatarwata ensured that the government is ready to provide an electric motorbike subsidy budget which will be released this month.
According to him, it is believed that the strategic program which is referred to as "assistance for those who are entitled" will not encounter any problems because the state's financial capacity is quite capable.
This statement was emphasized by Isa following the absence of an electric motorbike subsidy scheme in the APBN posture.
"The subsidy for electric motorbikes is not in the budget of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources and the Ministry of Industry, so it will later go into public flags," he said when met at the Ministry of Finance's complex on Tuesday, March 7.
According to Isa, his party is trying to realize this important program considering that the instructions were obtained directly from the Head of State.
"This is an order from the president (Jokowi), we will definitely look for the budget," explained Sri Mulyani's subordinate.
The day before, the Head of the Fiscal Policy Agency (BKF) of the Ministry of Finance, Febrio Kacaribu, stated that the electric motorbike subsidy assistance program was a government initiative to accelerate economic transformation towards the creation of green economy goals.
"This transformation is expected to generate high value-added economic activity," said Febrio.
In addition, he revealed, the distribution of electric motorbike subsidy assistance was intended to expand existing job opportunities in Indonesia.
