South Sulawesi Special Culinary Enliven Inacraft Exhibition In Jakarta

MAKASSAR - Dozens of culinary specialties from South Sulawesi (Sulsel) will be presented at the largest craft exhibition in Southeast Asia entitled Inacraft at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), 1-5 March 2023.

"We present a number of South Sulawesi specialties at Inacraft," said South Sulawesi Governor Andi Sudirman Sulaiman as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, March 1.

As for food, drink, and snacks typical of South Sulawesi, they include kapurung and parede, simbole durian (Palopo) from Wajo Regency, there are lawa ikan danau, lawa udang danau, ikan kering tumbuk, ikan kering bungo, ronto, peppi, and a number of traditional cakes, including barongko, beppa pute, bolu peca, katirisala, and so on.

From Takalar there are a number of typical cakes such as bipang and baruasa, as well as others.

There are also Makassar specialties, including pallubasa, pisang epe, otak-otak, coto, and konro. There is also a special menu from Enrekang Regency in the form of sokko pulu mandoti, bundu-bundu ayam, dangke bakar; There will also be a special saudara soup from Pangkep Regency.

While from Bone Regency, they include baje canggoreng, beppa kambu, gogoso, kacipo lotong, and so on.

Apart from food, special drinks from South Sulawesi were also presented, including passion fruit and Toraja coffee.

Sulsel at the Inacraft 2023 exhibition carries the big theme "From Smart Village to Global Market" and its sub-theme "The Authentic South Sulawesi".

The Inacraft exhibition was officially opened by the Menparekraf, Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno, Minister of Cooperatives and SMEs, Teten Masduki, General Chair of ASHEPI, Mucshin Ridjan, and Governor of South Sulawesi Andi Sudirman Sulaiman.

In Inacraft this time, the Phinisi Ship has become an icon offered by the South Sulawesi Provincial Government at Inacraft. The consideration is that the Phinisi Ship is worldwide, and is able to increase Inacraft's promotional power not only in Indonesia but throughout the world.
