Justice Collaborator Becomes A Lightening Consideration Behind Bharada E's 1 Year 6 Month Sentence
JAKARTA - The panel of judges granted the justice collaborator's request filed by defendant Richard Eliezer alias Bharada E in the premeditated murder case of Brigadier J.
Meanwhile, the acceptance of this was conveyed by Chief Justice Wahyu Iman Santoso when reading out the verdict.
"Determining the defendant as a witness for the perpetrator who cooperates or justice collaborator," said Judge Wahyu in the trial at the South Jakarta District Court, Wednesday, February 15.
In the ruling, the panel of judges also decided that the sentence for Bharada E would be shortened by the detention period from the time of the arrest.
"Determining the arrest and the length of the detention period that the defendant has served is deducted entirely from the sentence imposed," he said.
"Determining the defendant to remain in custody," continued Judge Wahyu.
Richard Eliezer alias Bharada E was found guilty and involved in a series of premeditated murder cases against Yosua alias Brigadier J. Adjutant Ferdy Sambo was sentenced to 1 year and 6 months in prison.
In the verdict, Bharada E's actions or actions in the series of premeditated murder cases are believed to have violated Article 340 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 55 Paragraph 1 to (1) of the Criminal Code.
