Judge Calls Bripka Ricky Rizal Becomes 'Spion' Ferdy Sambo Before Brigadier J's Execution
JAKARTA - The panel of judges stated that the defendant Ricky Rizal alias Bripka RR had the role of "Spion (monitor the situation)" Ferdy Sambo to monitor the movements of Yosua alias Brigadier J before being executed.
The role of Bripka RR in the case of alleged planning by Brigadier J is based on the facts of the trial which are linked together as a common thread.
"In Duren Tiga, he monitored the movements of the victim Yosua who was in the park and summoned the victim Yosua on the orders of witness Ferdy Sambo, through witness Strong Ma'ruf", said Judge Morgan Simanjuntak in court at the South Jakarta District Court, Tuesday, February 14.
During the execution process, Bripka RR's role was to block or block exit from the living room. Thus, Brigadier J could not escape.
That role is not much different from Strong Ma'ruf. Ferdy Sambo's driver closed the doors and windows from the first floor to the balcony of Ferdy Sambo's official residence.
"Together with Strong Ma'ruf, took part in confronting the victim Yosua with the witness Ferdy Sambo and stood in the second line together with Strong Ma'ruf to close the way out for the victim Yosua", said Judge Morgan.
With the series of roles of Bripka RR, the panel of judges assessed if he wanted and knew about the premeditated murder of Brigadier J. Thus, the element of intentionality was jointly fulfilled.
"Considering that from the description of the legal considerations above, the panel of judges thinks that the second element was intentionally proven legally", said Judge Morgan.
