Axl Rose’s Tribute to the Late Lisa Marie Presley: I'll Miss You
JAKARTA - Guns N' Roses vocalist Axl Rose paid tribute to Lisa Marie Presley, who passed away on January 12 after suffering from heart failure.
Elvis Presley's only daughter left behind twin daughters, Harper and Finely Lockwood (14 years) and Riley Keough (33). Lisa Marie is 54 years old.
Axl Rose told People magazine in an exclusive statement he will miss Lisa Marie very much.
"I will miss my friend Lisa. Her death, like her son, or as a child, her father, seemed unreal. Lisa loved her family, all of her children. My heart goes out to them," said Axl Rose.
In 2020, Lisa Marie's son, Benjamin Keough, died by suicide at the age of 27.
"The passing of her son is shocking, tragic and devastating," continued Axl Rose. "It's something that, at some point, you obviously don't want to bring up but will awkwardly try to let her know you care and are thinking about her, about them, and to provide whatever comfort you can, which she appreciates".

"I wanted her to be happy, to feel good about things, at least as much as one could under the circumstances. And really, with the closeness of their relationship, one could hope for it - but honestly, I don't think so, at least without passing a real-time, plausible reality. "
He continued: "What happens after life who knows but I'd like to think they were together, her and Ben with his father and grandfather Ben in some way, and Lisa, and the most important men in her life are happy together."
Lisa Marie will be buried at Graceland, next to her late son. Elvis Presley is also buried at Graceland, the Memphis mansion and shrine of the famous rock icon.
