WhatsApp Launches Undo Button Globally to Recover Accidentally Deleted Messages
JAKARTA - Meta has finally released an Undo button, which functions to undo messages that were accidentally deleted with "Delete for Me" on WhatsApp.
Actually, the undo delete message feature was introduced last August, but at that time, only WhatsApp Beta users could use it.
But now, Meta announced on Tuesday, December 20 that the Undo feature has been rolled out to all WhatsApp users worldwide.
"Delete for Me. We've all been there, but now you can CANCEL when you accidentally delete a message for you that you want to delete for everyone," Meta said on Twitter.
It works the same way in beta, where when you accidentally hit "Delete for Me", which you should want to delete for everyone, then a snackbar will appear at the bottom of your screen, bringing up the "Undo" option.

Unfortunately, you'll only see the snackbar for a limited time, or just five seconds. So you better press the button faster. Because if the snackbar is lost, you will no longer be able to recover your messages.
If you haven't seen the Undo feature on your WhatsApp, maybe you have to update your WhatsApp first on the play store or app store.
