Police Helicopter Agency and Pilot Not Yet Found, Joint SAR Team Doing This
JAKARTA - The search for the fuselage of the BO-105 P1103 helicopter and the pilot named AKP Arif Rahman Saleh who allegedly sank at the bottom of the Manggar Waters, East Belitung Regency is still being searched.
The combined SAR team extended the search time for 3 days, since last Sunday, December 4. After a 7-day search period, the helicopter pilot had not been found. The pilot is still missing along with the helicopter he was driving.
"Today the search for the pilot and the helicopter body is continuing. The search is focused on the target of the helicopter body with scans and scans of the scan results", said the Head of the Pangkal Pinang Search and Relief Office, I Made Oka Astawa when contacted by VOI, Monday, December 5.
Furthermore, the Joint SAR Team evaluated the search for helicopters in Manggar Waters after the search process had not been completed for 1 week.
"So far the target has not been found. The helicopter body is still being scanned", he said.
