KPK Finds Alphard Allegedly Belongs to the Fugitive Central Mamberamo Regent

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has found a Toyota Alphard which is suspected to belong to the inactive Central Mamberamo Regent Ricky Ham Pagawak. The luxury car was attempted to be traced because it was transferred to someone else.

"The Investigative Team received information related to an order allegedly from the DPO suspect RHP through a trusted person to hand over and transfer a Toyota Alphard car unit to a certain party", said the Head of the KPK News Section, Ali Fikri, to reporters on Thursday, November 17.

Ali said the car was already in the hands of the KPK. Its ownership and transfer will be investigated by investigators.

"Currently, the car has been secured and will soon be investigated further regarding the alleged ownership", he said.

As previously reported, the KPK named Ricky Ham Pagawak as a suspect in the alleged bribery of a project in Central Mamberamo Regency, Papua. However, the regent has fled and his whereabouts are unknown.

Ricky allegedly fled to Papua New Guinea with the help of members of the TNI. His name is currently on the wanted list (DPO).

In this case, the KPK suspects that Ricky received money from a contractor who wanted to get a project in Central Mamberamo. One of them, from Marten, allegedly gave IDR 300 million to billions of rupiah.
