The Indonesian U-20 Team Loses To Saudi Arabian League Club Al-Adalah, PSSI Chairman: Players Have Struggled

JAKARTA - The U-20 Indonesian team lost in the last trial match in Turkey. Facing Al Adalah FC at the Emirhan Side Stadium, Turkey, Sunday, November 13, Garuda Nusantara surrendered 0-2.

In this match, Indonesia U-20 fielded Ivar Jenner and Justin Hubner from the start. While Marselino Ferdinan played as a substitute.

Shin Tae-Yong's squad put up fierce resistance to the Saudi Arabian League's highest caste club. But in the second half, Al Adalah was able to steal a goal.

They scored two goals, in the 64th minute and 77th minute. The two goals made Indonesia U-20 suffer a second defeat in a test match in Turkey.

"In this match, the players have struggled, we still appreciate it. The training camp and a number of trial matches while in Turkey were valuable experiences for the players," said PSSI General Chair, Mochamad Iriawan, on the federation's official website, Sunday, November 13, 2022.

"They have to keep working hard, focused, disciplined for maximum results at the AFC U-20 Cup and of course the upcoming U-20 World Cup," he continued.

After this trial, Garuda Nusantara will fly to Spain on Monday, November 14 local time. Shin Tae-Yong's fleet will continue their training camp and carry out a number of trial matches in Matador Country.
