DAMRI Operates 24 Electric Buses at the Bali G20 Summit, Here Are Some Routes Passed

JAKARTA - The summit of G20 Summit in Bali is only a few days away. To support the smooth accessibility of transportation for the G20 Summit, DAMRI is ready to operate 24 electric buses to mobilize the participants and delegates of the G20 Summit.

DAMRI Corporate Secretary, Akhmad Zulfikri, said his party was collaborating with the Ministry of Transportation and INKA to provide electric buses.

Furthermore, Zulfikri explained that several preparations for the operation of the electric bus had been carried out by DAMRI. This includes training for drivers.

"Such as ensuring Minimum Service Standards in safety and readiness while driving, health checks for drivers, to route simulations for all operational teams, as well as coordinating with related parties to be able to serve well and optimally", he said in an official statement, Thursday, 10 November.

The route that will be traversed by the electric bus that will be operated by DAMRI in Nusa Dua is divided into 3 routes, including:

1. ND Route 1

The bus will pass through Lagoon Field - Sofitel Hotel & Resort - BNDCC - Bali Collection - Hotel St. Regis - Mulia Resort - Hilton Hotels - The Apurva Kempinski – Samabe Bali Suites & Villas.

2. ND Route 2

The bus will pass Nusa Dua Beach Hotel - The Westin Hotel - The Laguna Hotel - Melia Bali Hotel - Bali Collection - Grand Hyatt Hotel - Ayodya Resort Bali - Hotel Merusaka - The Apurva Kempinski.

3. ND Route 3

The bus will pass through Bali Collection – The Mulia Resort - The Apurva Kempinski - Hotel Ritz Carlton.

"We are optimistic that electric buses can operate optimally, with careful preparation and regular checks, hopefully, the operation of this fleet will be able to support the smooth running of the G20 Summit agenda", he concluded.
