Open the door to a rematch with Floyd Mayweather, Ricky Hatton: It's going to be something else

JAKARTA - The following Saturday, former world champion and retired British boxing Ricky Hatton will re-enter the ring. However, this time for an exhibition fight against Marco Antonio Barrera, a Mexican boxing legend who has also retired for several years.

This fight will take place in Manchester, in the same arena where Hatton claimed his first world title. For that, he felt that tonight would be very extraordinary.

Hatton said he and Barrera did not want to disappoint the public. More emphatically, he said, "no fan has ever left a Ricky Hatton fight disappointed".

However, Hatton also praised the ability of his potential opponent. With all his career and skills, Hatton called Barrera a former boxer who deserves respect.

"We all know how good he is as a boxer as a boxing fan with all the great fights he's been in. But I'll get a chance to learn firsthand how good he really is", Hatton said.

On the other hand, another boxing retiree, Floyd Mayweather Jr., will also participate in the exhibition fight on the same weekend.

Asked about the possibility of fighting against 'Money', Hatton said it could happen. Previously in a professional duel 15 years ago, Mayweather defeated Hatton in 10 rounds.

"Sharing the ring with Floyd Mayweather again would be something else", Hatton said curtly.
