Distribution Of Wage Subsidy Aid Through Pos Indonesia Starts Next Week
JAKARTA - The Minister of Manpower (Menaker) Ida Fauziyah said Wage Subsidy Assistance (BSU) for workers who do not have bank accounts at the State-Owned Bank Association (Himbara) will begin to be distributed through PT Pos Indonesia next week.
"The distribution of BSU has been received by 8,432,533 workers throughout Indonesia through the Himbara bank, while workers who have not received BSU because they do not have an account at the Himbara bank will be channeled through Pos Indonesia starting next week," said Ida Fauziyah as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, October 13.
The Minister of Manpower Ida Fauziyah explained that the distribution of BSU to 8,432,533 workers reached 65.66 percent of the target of 14.6 million workers who received BSU.
Ida said that until the 5th stage of distribution, BSU had been distributed to workers who had accounts at banks that entered Himbara. Meanwhile, for workers who meet the requirements but have not received one of them because they do not have an account at the Himbara bank.
"On average, those who have not received BSU are because they do not have an account with Himbara bank. We will distribute it through PT Pos Indonesia, starting next week," she said.

Speaking when accompanying President Joko Widodo to review the distribution of BSU to workers in Bandung, the Minister of Manpower said that the Ministry of Manpower cooperated with PT Pos Indonesia to accelerate the process of distributing BSU this year.
"This is done so that workers who do not have a Himbara bank account do not need to open an account because it will be channeled through PT Pos Indonesia," she said.
The Minister of Manpower ensured that distribution through Himbara bank and PT Pos Indonesia would not burden BSU recipients.
"This will be borne by the government, without reducing the amount of IDR600 thousand that will be received," said Ida Fauziyah.
