Central Java - The Pati Resort Police (Polres) has officially upgraded to the Pati City Police (Polresta).

Central Java Police Chief, Inspector General Police Ahmad Luthfi, inaugurated it by marking the release of pigeons on Thursday, October 13.

The promotion of this type also immediately carried out a restoration of rank for the position of police chief from The Adjunct Senior Commissioner of Police (AKBP) becomes the Chief Commissioner (Kombes), while the Heads of Units (Kasat) become Police Commissioners (Kompol).

"This type of increase is certainly by the nature of the threat to Pati because it has a huge area of huge districts", Ahmad said in a statement, quoted from Antara, Thursday, October 13.

Ahmad reminded this type of increase also has consequences so that later challenges must be addressed with the sensitivity of the Pati Police in providing better service than before. Mainly in providing services, shelter, and legal protection.

"This consequence is a moral responsibility, the synergy must be increased not only internally, but also externally with Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda) and other stakeholders", he said.

On that occasion, Ahmad also ordered all ranks of the Police Chief in Central Java always to be sensitive to the development of the situation.
