Al-Khelaifi Urges UEFA To Investigate Sale of Barca Assets In Dubious Legality
JAKARTA - Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi criticized Barcelona for selling some of its assets last summer. He urged UEFA to investigate the matter.
The Blaugrana raised more than 700 million euros from the sale of shares in their domestic television rights and Barca Studios.
This is done to comply with La Liga regulations and register their new players.
In an interview with Politico, Al-Khelaifi questioned whether the sale was legal.
"Is it fair? No, it's not fair. ... Is it legal? I'm not sure", Al-Khelaifi was quoted as saying by Marca, Thursday.

"If they allow that, others will do the same. UEFA of course has its own [financial] regulations. For sure they will see everything."
Al-Khelaifi then talked about the European Super League initiated by Barcelona, Real Madrid, and Juventus. He was sure the idea would not work.
"I firmly believe no one will let the Super League happen. We have to think about everyone, not just ourselves, we have to respect our fans", he concluded.
