Manny Pacquiao Ready To Return To Ring: E Lefti's Fight In Saudi Arabia
JAKARTA - Manny Pacquiao will return to the ring but in an exhibition fight against Jaber Zayani.
The French boxer became Pacquiao's teammate against Keith Thurman in 2019. The event will take place in Saudi Arabia in February 2023.
According to the Manila Times newspaper, quoted Thursday, the contract for the event has been officially signed.
Earlier this week, the two met at the Senator's home in Makati City.
"I personally negotiated with the senator, along with my team. After months of holding a lot of talks, we agreed on a fight for next year", Pacquiao said, quoted by Marca.
"He has signed his contract, so everything has been completed. We both promise each other to prepare very well", Pac-Man continued
Manny Pacquiao's last fight was on August 21, 2021, against Cuban boxer Yordenis Ugas. The Filipino boxer accepted defeat with a unanimous decision and later announced his resignation from professional boxing.

"I will prepare in the same way I trained for a real fight", Pacquiao said, while previously explaining that the days of the fight approved in the ranks of paid professionals for fighters turning politicians have ended.
In his career, Manny Pacquiao won world titles in the flying class, super bantamweight, featherweight, super, lightweight, super lightweight, welterweight, and super welterweight.
Pacquiao combined gloves with politics, elected congressional in 2010, and then senator in 2016, but failed to become president of his country in 2022.
