Portugal's squad for the 2022 World Cup Qatar is better than Brazil
JAKARTA - Portugal national team player Joao Felix thinks that their squad at the Qatar 2022 World Cup later this year is much better than the Brazilian national team.
The kick-off of the four-year competition will take place on November 20 and end on December 18. Brazil and Portugal will come with a capable squad.
Joao Felix assesses the depth of the Portugal squad is not inferior to Brazil, which is one of the favorites to win. He also hopes that the Selecção das Quinas can clash with the Samba team.
"Brazil have great players but they are not better than the Portuguese national team," said the player who defended Atletico Madrid as quoted by Record.
Brazil has definitely come up with some of their superstars who are currently playing a lot in Europe. They are noted to have the luxury of being in the goalkeeper position because of Ederson and Alisson Becker.
Then in defense the Samba team has Thiago Silva, Marquinhos, Alex Sandro, Alex Telles, Eder Militao, and Danilo. Continuing to the midfield they will be strengthened by Fred, Casemiro, Fabinho, Lucas Paqueta, and Bruno Guimaraes.

On the other hand, Portugal also has a squad that is no less flashy. They also include Rui Patricio, Pepe, Ruben Dias, Joao Cancelo, Diogo Dalot, Raphael Gureiro, and Cristiano Ronaldo.
In Qatar, Brazil will occupy Group G with Sweden, Switzerland, and Cameroon. Meanwhile, Portugal fills Group H with Ghana, Uruguay, and South Korea.
