Corruption Case Of Regional Hospital, Former West Pasaman Regent Denied Absent From Kejari Call: I Was Notified To Be Postponed
WEST SUMATERA - The former regent of West Pasaman, Yulianto, denied being absent without reason being summoned by the West Pasaman District Attorney (Kejari).
Yulianto was originally asked for information as a witness in the alleged corruption case in the construction of the West Pasaman Regional General Hospital (RSUD) for the 2018-2020 fiscal year.
"I respect the ongoing legal process. Indeed, I was summoned for questioning last Friday, September 9," he said at Simpang Empat, West Sumatra, Sunday, September 11.
According to him, he visited the West Pasaman Prosecutor's Office on Friday, September 9 morning.
"However, I was told that the collection of information against me was postponed because the investigator concerned had another agenda in Padang City," he said.
Yulianto admitted that as a good citizen he would not do anything that could make it difficult for investigators to uncover the case.
In addition, he also promised to attend if there was a next summons because apart from helping investigators to uncover the case more clearly.
He also hopes that his statement will be able to answer all issues related to his position in the case while serving as deputy regent until he is finally confirmed to be the Regent of West Pasaman.
"I am ready to provide the information needed by investigators at the next summons," he said.
Previously, it was known that the former West Pasaman Regent Yulianto did not come to fulfill the summons of investigators without any information as a witness related to efforts to develop the alleged mega corruption case in the construction of the West Pasaman Hospital building.
On Friday, September 9, there should have been summons to three witnesses on the case but only attended by two people each with the initials YD who at that time served as Regional Secretary, and one person from the community element with the initials IP.
The head of the West Pasaman District Attorney's Office, Ginanjar Cahya Permana, confirmed that he had summoned three people on Friday, September 9, for questioning regarding the RSUD construction case.
Of the three who were summoned by two people, namely YD and IP, while Y was not present.
He said his party summoned the three witnesses because their names were mentioned by other suspects in the policy and there were allegations of accepting bribes and gratuities.
For witnesses Y and YD, their names were mentioned by one of the lawyers suspected of HW related to the policy of disbursing the budget for the construction of the hospital. Meanwhile, IP was named by a suspect who was suspected of receiving bribes and gratuities.
"This is the first call for the three. We are still investigating their involvement in the future. Currently, it is only a clarification because their names are mentioned by other suspects," he said.
Against one person who was not present, said Kajari, his party will call him again another day.
Until now, the West Pasaman Kejari has named 11 suspects in the case of the construction of the West Pasaman Hospital with a fund ceiling of more than IDR 134 billion.
The 11 suspects are the Commitment Making Officer (PPK) with the initials NI, the liaison or third party with the initials HAM, the Director of PT MAM Energindo with the initials AA, the use of the activity budget or the former Director of the RSUD who is also the Commitment Making Officer (PPK) with the initials Y, BS, HW and the Director of Construction Management initials MY.

He explained that in the mega project case, allegations of bribery worth IDR 4.5 billion were also found, construction losses were worth more than IDR 20 billion, and losses were also found in his plan.
He added that two of the suspects had returned bribes and gratuities allegedly received from the tender-winning company.
