Deputy Governor Riza Patria: The Case Of Teacher Molesting Students At SMKN 1 Is Over, The Teacher Is Transferred
JAKARTA - Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta Ahmad Riza Patria said the case of a teacher molesting students at SMKN 1 had been completed through good mediation between the teacher and the victim's parents.
The Provincial Government (Pemprov) of DKI Jakarta has also imposed sanctions on a teacher at SMKN 1 Jakarta in the form of a mutation from SMKN 1 as a result of the case.
"The teacher received sanctions including being transferred to another place. It hasn't come to that yet, has it been (fired)," Riza said in Jakarta, Saturday, August 20, as quoted by Antara.
Meanwhile, for students with the initials RH, Riza said that his party guarantees that these students can continue their studies until they graduate.
"We guarantee that the school guarantees, the service guarantees that the child can go to school in the same place comfortably and safely and well in the future," he said.
Sawah Besar Sector Police Chief, AKP Patar Mula Bona said his staff had examined the teacher who taught sports subjects, suspected of committing the abuse.

"Several witnesses have been examined, the teacher in question has also been questioned," he said when confirmed by reporters, Thursday, August 18.
In addition to the teacher with the initials HT, Patar said, his party has also examined several witnesses including the school and students of SMKN 1 Jakarta.
"The school (had been examined), then from friends of the victims there were more than five people, as far as I remember there were more than five witnesses," he said.
