No Fear! Jorge Masvidal Dare To Call Conor McGregor As 'The Little Bitch'
JAKARTA — Mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter Jorge Masvidal has labeled Conor McGregor as 'the little bitch'. He targeted the Irish hero as his opponent in the next duel.
Masvidal, currently 37, has not returned to the octagon since March earlier this year. He last fought when he lost to Colby Covington in the main event of UFC 272.
He is now looking to return to dueling after several months of absence and Conor McGregor is one of his targets. McGregor is also in plans for a comeback after showing signs of recovering from a leg injury.
"The most reasonable is the little bitch Conor (McGregor) it. I do not mind getting a big salary to beat the midget," said the fighter from the United States, reported by the Daily Star.
However, the fight with McGregor is not certain to materialize. Most likely he will be against Leon Edwards or Gilbert Burns who want to defend the title if they beat Kamaru Usman at UFC 278.
The odds against McGregor also narrowed after Masvidal faced multiple felony charges for allegedly assaulting Covington in March. The trial for the case begins later this month.
"I want to fight Gilbert, but will it happen this year, will it happen next year? I have some legal issues that I have to deal with and deal with, then I'll be right back. There are three crimes they have accused me of," he said.

On the other hand, McGregor is said to have negotiated with Floyd Mayweather for a rematch. This will be the first meeting between the two after five years of their first fight.
If the blockbuster duel can be realized, the two fighters can pocket 130 million pounds, equivalent to IDR 2.7 trillion.
Some reports say the terms for the rematch have been agreed, including the weight of the fight. However, other things have yet to be decided including whether Mayweather will risk his perfect professional record.
McGregor is said to want the fight to run in 10 rounds instead of 12 rounds like the previous fight. At that time, Mayweather split 80 million pounds for McGregor from a total income of 250 million pounds.
For this rematch, The Mail reports Mayweather has offered McGregor 130 million pounds. This could also be the last time the American boxer has stepped into the ring as he turned 45 in February.
