Sandiaga Uno Boosts Student Entrepreneurial Ability Through Training

JAKARTA - Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy (Menparekraf) Sandiaga Uno held a training for students. The theme is entrepreneurship training and sales optimization through digital marketing to students of Prof. University Dr. Hazairin, Bengkulu.

Together with the Indonesia Setara Foundation, Sandiaga wants to motivate students to open up business opportunities for entrepreneurship.

Sandiaga Uno said this training was able to create a stronger economy by opening up new job opportunities. This encourages students to be digitally literate effectively in improving modern communication.

"We provide this training to improve students' abilities in accessing businesses in the culinary and creative economy," said Sandiaga in his statement, Friday, August 5.

Sandiaga said this training collaborated with Indonesia's Small Enterprise Hub (SMEsHub) to increase the digitization of millennial MSMEs. In addition, the best participants will be guided to be given business capital assistance.

"Kemenparekraf collaborates with SMEsHub to collaborate with all parties to increase the digitalization of young MSMEs with mentoring programs to access to financing," said Sandiaga Uno.

Meanwhile, the Founder and CEO of SMEsHub Indonesia, Lutpi Ginanjar, admitted that Sandiaga cares about the Indonesian economy. Therefore, Sandiaga invites millennials to build a better Indonesia.

"I consider Mr. Sandi a person who really cares about the progress of young people, MSMEs, and also makes entrepreneurs grow. Mr. Sandi also has an extraordinary spirit in creating jobs this year, 1.1 million so that in 2024 it will be 4.4 million," said Lutpi.

In this training, business students can optimize social media for marketing. Students are encouraged to have the ability to create original and relevant content. In addition, active social media interaction is also needed to better respond to buyers.
