Menkumham Affirms Staff For Transparency In State Financial Management
JAKARTA - RI Minister of Law and Human Rights (Menkumham) Yasonna Hamonangan Laoly emphasized the importance of transparency and accountability in the management of state finances and property.
"We are fully aware of the importance of transparency and accountability within the Ministry of Law and Human Rights," Yasonna said in a written statement received in Jakarta, Tuesday, July 19.
This was conveyed by Yasonna after the ministry he leads won the 13th Unqualified Opinion (WTP) in a row since 2009.
He said that although Indonesia was hit by the COVID-19 pandemic in the last few years, this condition did not become a barrier for the Ministry of Law and Human Rights to manage state finances well.
"Despite the COVID-19 situation, the Ministry of Law and Human Rights remains committed to implementing the budget preparation properly and accountably," said Yasonna.
The achievement submitted by the Indonesian Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) is a form of awareness and commitment from the ranks of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights to always strive to achieve transparency and accountability in the management of state finances.
This is realized by submitting financial reports in a timely manner and prepared according to government accounting standards (SAP), he explained.

The results of the examination conducted by the BPK RI encourage the Ministry of Law and Human Rights to continue to improve financial management, and effective and accountable state property, which aims to avoid various forms of irregularities.
Meanwhile, Member I of the RI BPK Nyoman Adhi Suryadnyana said the achievement of WTP 13 times in a row was a form of hard work carried out by the Ministry of Law and Human Rights in managing and accounting for state finances.
"Financial examination in 2021, we did not find any significant problems that have an impact on the fairness of the presentation of financial statements," said Nyoman Adhi.
According to him, the financial report of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights as of December 31, 2021 presents fairly all material matters, budget realization, operations, and changes in equity in accordance with government accountability standards.
