Add 19 Cases, Total Covid-19 In Bangka Belitung To 50 People
BaANGKA BELITUNG - The Province of the Bangka Belitung Islands confirmed the addition of 19 cases of COVID-19 as of Friday, July 15 morning. This brings the total cases in the area to 50.
"After Eid al-Adha, COVID-19 cases continue to increase", said Secretary of the Bangka Belitung Micron Space Task Force for Handling COVID-19 in Pangkalpinang, Bangka Belitung, as quoted by Antara, Friday, July 15.
Based on the latest data on daily COVID-19 cases in the Province of the Bangka Belitung Islands, 19 confirmed cases of the Coronavirus were spread in Belitung, 14 people, and Pangkalpinang 5 people, while other districts without COVID-19 cases.
"Today, five regencies, namely Bangka, West Bangka, Central Bangka, South Bangka and East Belitung, have zero cases of COVID-19", he said.

He said, with the addition of confirmed cases of the Coronavirus, there were 50 active COVID-19 patients spread across 19 people in Belitung, Pangkalpinang (19), Bangka (8), and Central Bangka (4).
"Currently, the patient has recovered and died from COVID-19 is nil", he said.
To suppress the surge in COVID-19 cases, his party together with the regional government again intensified supervision and socialization of the implementation of health protocols and mass vaccinations.
"We urge the public to return to the discipline of wearing masks, especially indoors, to prevent the transmission of this Coronavirus", he said.
