Misnah's Mother Cried To Meet Bobby Nasution: Thank You, Sir, My House Was Renovated
MEDAN - When she found out that Medan Mayor Bobby Nasution was coming, Misnah could no longer contain her emotions. With a little run, the housewife went straight to President Joko Widodo's son-in-law who had just finished inspecting the house that was being renovated.
The woman's tears immediately broke after meeting Bobby Nasution. With a sob, the mother of three thanked Bobby Nasution for the house renovation.
Because, one of the 3 houses in the process of being built is her house. The woman who works as a fish picker in the gabion every day does not think that it is her house. In fact, not only her house, but also the house of her two older brothers who are also widows.
“Thank you, Mr. Bobby, my house and my two brothers have been dissected. I don't know what else to say, I'm so happy. We can only bow down and be grateful that we can do this for the assistance provided," said Misnah, quoted from a written statement by Public Relations of the Medan City Government, Wednesday, June 29.
Bobby Nasution immediately smiled and tried to calm Misnah, who was constantly sobbing. The husband of the Chairman of the Medan City PKK TP Kahiyang Ayu hopes that with the house renovation, both Misnah and her three children and her two sisters can live in peace and their house will not be flooded with water again when the tidal flood occurs.
This is because the three houses that were dissected are now taller so that no more water will enter when the tidal flood hits.
"Hopefully you and your family can be calmer after the house is done," said Bobby Nasution.
For Misnah, it was like a dream, her house and the houses of her two sisters were being renovated. Her income as a fish picker did not allow her to build a house.

With an income of IDR 50 thousand which is not earned every day, Misnah is only able to use the money to meet her daily needs, and so is still lacking.
Moreover, Misnah admitted that she had to meet the school needs of her children at the elementary and high school levels.
"I look for food myself, because my husband is no longer there. The income earned can only be used to feed three children. Moreover, the income of IDR 50 thousand is not every day I get. Even just to eat sometimes there, sometimes can't. So, I am very grateful and grateful for the house renovation that was carried out,” she said sobbing again.
With the house surgery done, Mishnah and her two sisters were very happy. So far, their house always leaks every time it rains and is flooded when the tidal flood comes.
"When the tidal flood hits, we can't do anything because the water level reaches the waists of adults. Once again, thank you Mr. Bobby for helping us,” she said.
“When I met Mr. Bobby, I conveyed that the condition of our house was unfit for habitation and it was impossible for us to repair it at our own expense. I begged him to fix our house. It turned out that my request was fulfilled, so our house was repaired,” said Misnah.
