COVID-19 Update As Of June 29: 2,149 New Cases, 16,174 Active Cases
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health released the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 as of today. A total of 80,020 specimens were examined today. As a result, there were 2,149 new positive cases of COVID-19.
"The total accumulation of positive cases since COVID-19 was discovered in Indonesia has reached 6,086,212 and active cases have increased by 864 to 16,174", said Ministry of Health data, Wednesday, June 29.
Today's recovered cases increased by 1,282 people, bringing the total to 5,913,807 people recovered. Then, positive confirmed cases who died increased by 3 cases and totaled 156,731 people.
The province with the newest cases is DKI Jakarta with 1,134 cases and a total of 1,268,490 cases. Followed by West Java which has 416 new cases with a total of 1,111,738 cases. Banten has 294 new cases and a total of 296,879 cases. East Java has 113 new cases and a total of 577,975 cases.
The province with the most recovered cases today belongs to DKI Jakarta with an additional 709 recovered cases. Followed by West Java with an additional 176 recovered cases, Banten with an additional 159 recovered cases, and East Java with an additional 100 recovered cases.
In addition, the number of specimens that have been examined using RT-PCR, TCM, and antigens has reached 100,741,581.

The number of people suspected of contracting COVID-19 or who are currently categorized as suspected cases was recorded at 4,937 people. Currently, 34 provinces have had cases of COVID-19.
Furthermore, currently, 201,454,172 people have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination and 168,964,866 of the second dose of vaccination. Then, the third dose of vaccination was 50,398,859. Meanwhile, the target for vaccination in Indonesia is 208,265,720 people.
