"Of course, the friendly and warm meeting raises optimism for the success of President Jokowi's mission to Ukraine and Russia", said Ruhaini, at the Bina Graha Building, Jakarta, Tuesday, June 28.
Ruhaini emphasized that the main mission of President Jokowi's visit to Ukraine and Russia was to encourage the cessation of war and the willingness of the two countries to sit together in peace negotiations, to reduce the humanitarian impact, especially the loss of life and complicated refugee problems.
In addition, she continued, to prevent the world from food and energy crises caused by the war with global impacts. Moreover, currently, the world has not fully recovered from the pandemic crisis.
According to Ruhaini, the presence and warm welcome of world leaders toward President Jokowi at the G7 summit will strengthen the mission and pave the way for Russia-Ukraine negotiations to achieve peace.

"The President appointed the Indonesian Presidency at the G20 to optimize the modalities and role of Indonesia in world peace", she explained.
For this reason, continued Ruhaini, from the beginning President Jokowi, showed a strong commitment to ending the war as mandated by the constitution, namely participating in maintaining world peace and maintaining the legacy as the initiator of the Non-Aligned Movement which advocated independence, opposed apartheid and did not take sides with any military pact.
"In addition, the modalities of a free and active foreign policy allow Indonesia to be friendly with any country in maintaining world order, including Russia and Ukraine", said Ruhaini.
