COVID-19 Update As Of June 23: 1.907 New Cases , 12.148 Active Cases
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) released the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 as of today. A total of 77.421 specimens were examined with the result that there were 1.907 new positive cases of COVID-19.
"The total accumulation of positive cases since COVID-19 was discovered in Indonesia has reached 6.074.825 and active cases have increased by 757 to 12.148," said Ministry of Health data, Thursday, June 23.
Today's recovered cases increased by 1.146 people, bringing the total to 5.905.971 people recovered. Then, positive confirmed cases who died increased by 4 cases and totaled 156.706 people.
The province with the newest cases is DKI Jakarta with 1,054 cases and a total of 1.261.898 cases. Followed by West Java with 332 new cases with a total of 1.109.738 cases. Banten with 236 new cases and a total of 295.513 cases. East Java with 113 new cases and a total of 577.434 cases.
The province with the most recovered cases today belongs to DKI Jakarta with an additional 605 recovered cases. Followed by Banten with an additional 214 recovered cases, West Java with an additional 144 recovered cases, and East Java with an additional 89 recovered cases.
In addition, the number of specimens that have been examined using RT-PCR, TCM, and antigens has reached 100.307.541.
"Positive results per number of people examined or the positivity rate of people this week was 2.04 percent," he wrote.
