PPKM Level 1 Has Reached A Slope, The Tourism Office Says The Event Doesn't Need A Permit From The Sleman COVID-19 Task Force

DIY - The Tourism Office (Dinpar) of Sleman Regency, Suparmono emphasized that the managers of tourist destinations who want to hold events no longer need permission from the COVID-19 Task Force (Satgas).

"In addition, it is also allowed to bring visitors to the event with a capacity of up to 100 percent," said Head of the Sleman Regency Tourism Office Suparmono in Sleman, quoted from Antara, Sunday, June 12.

According to him, the policy was taken after the PPKM in Sleman Regency had reached level 1 and COVID-19 cases had also started to sag.

"However, permits for crowds from the police must still be available," he said.

He said, although currently, tourism activities are much more relaxed, but it is recommended that every event held must still refer to the SOP for health protocols.

"We are currently still in the pandemic period and COVID-19 is still there, so we still urge the health protocols to be implemented," he said.

Suparmono said that while maintaining health protocols, every tourist activity would feel safer and more comfortable and minimize the possibility of COVID-19 transmission.

He said, apart from being allowed to hold events with 100 percent of visitors, currently, there is no age limit for visitors to tourist destinations.

"But for children under the age of 12 years, the rules must be accompanied by parents. Then, specifically for children under the age of six to 12 years, they must show proof of vaccination at least the first dose," he concluded.
