Launches Precision Missile Strike: Russia Destroys European-provided Tank And Ukrainian US-made Radar
JAKARTA - The Russian Aerospace Forces launched a precision missile strike against a railway repair factory on the outskirts of Kyiv to destroy T-72 tanks supplied by Eastern European countries to Ukraine, according to Defense Ministry Spokesman Major General Igor Yevgenyevich Konashenkov.
"The Russian Air Force sent an attack with long-range precision air-launched missiles against the outskirts of Kyiv, to eliminate T-72 tanks and other armor at the railway repair plant which had been supplied by Eastern European countries," he explained, quoted by TASS on June 6.
He further explained that Russian missile and artillery troops were able to wipe out 46 Ukrainian command posts, 123 artillery and mortar units in firing positions. Including 498 areas that collect Ukrainian military manpower and hardware.
"The Russian Aerospace Forces sent out strikes with precision missiles, to destroy the command posts of the Ukrainian 81st and 95th air assault brigades, as well as repair workshops on Ukrainian military hardware," Major General Konashenkov said.
"Air-launched precision missiles destroyed workshops in the Kramatorsk, Druzhkovka and Chasov Yar communities in the Donetsk People's Republic repairing and restoring combat hardware of the Ukrainian army damaged in battle. The attack also destroyed command posts of the air assault brigades to -81 and 95 Ukrainian soldiers and six areas that collect military manpower and equipment," he explained.
Not only that, he also said that the Russian Aerospace Forces succeeded in carrying out attacks with precision missiles, to eliminate three Ukrainian artillery weapons depots and the US-made AN/TPQ-50 counter-fire radar in the Donetsk People's Republic.

"The attack removed two launchers of the Osa-AKM anti-aircraft missile system near the Cherkasskoye community in the Donetsk People's Republic and Orekhov in the Zaporozhye Region, two combat vehicles of various rocket launch systems near the settlement of Korotych in the Kharkov Region, three missile/artillery weapons depots. in the Mayaki and Slavyansk regions of the Donetsk People's Republic and also the US-made AN/TPQ-50 anti-fire radar near Seversk in the Donetsk People's Republic," he said.
He added, in addition to attacks with precision missiles, Russian warplanes also successfully shot down Ukrainian MiG-29 fighter jets, ammunition depots, tanks and armored vehicles, Grad multiple rocket launchers, artillery to drones, including the TB2 drone.
