Officially Held Today, Note The Schedule And Important Information For Formula E Spectators At The Ancol Circuit
JAKARTA - The ninth series of Formula E is officially held today, Saturday, June 4, at the Jakarta International E-Prix Circuit, Ancol. This electric car racing event will be held for one full day. Here's the schedule and important information about Formula E today.
The Formula E event has a different format from the Formula 1 race which is usually held three days in a row. For Formula E, each series is only held on one day, starting from free practice, qualifying to racing.
Race Schedule
For the ninth series in Jakarta, the agenda will begin with free practice (FP)1 starting at 07.15 - 07.45 western Indonesia time. From the observations of VOI in the field, the audience for FP1 is still unable to attend.
Next, there is the FP 2 schedule which starts at 09.00 - 09.30 western Indonesia time, then the qualifying round at 10.40 - 11.15 western Indonesia time, and on the same day the race schedule will also take place at 15.00 western Indonesia time.
In addition to information about the event schedule, there is also other important information that the committee has deliberately announced for ticket holders. The first thing is about the parking location provided for spectators.
Through the official social media @jakartaeprixofficial, it was explained that the Formula E organizer did not provide parking space around the circuit location and urged spectators to attend using public transportation. However, for spectators who still bring their vehicles, parking locations will be provided according to the ticket category.
The committee itself issues several ticket categories, including tickets for Jakarta Royal Suite (1A), Jakarta Deluxe Suite (1B), Segarra Suite (1C), Jimbaran Suite (1D), Ombak Laut Suite (1E), Grandstand (2A-2I), and Circuit Festival (3). For on-site parking facilities, private vehicles that can enter through the carnival door as the main gate only have a Royal Suite 1A ticket.
Meanwhile, for the holders of the Jakarta Deluxe Suite (1B), Segarra Suite (1C), Jimbaran Suite (1D), Ombak Laut Suite (1E), Grandstand (2A-2I), and Circuit Festival (3) the committee will provide parking space at JIEXPO Kemayoran.
Shuttle bus
Although they do not provide parking spaces around the circuit location and create parking pockets at JIEXPO so that spectators don't drive, the organizers have prepared a shuttle bus.
"PLEASE DO NOT BRING THE VEHICLE TO ANCOL DIRECTLY," wrote @jakartaeprixofficial.
As compensation for not bringing a vehicle, the committee has prepared a free shuttle bus that can be used by Formula E spectators. The bus will depart every 10 minutes from JIEXPO to the Jakarta International E-Prix Circuit.

Don't Post Tickets
Another important piece of information conveyed by the organizers is about tickets. The organizers asked spectators not to post Formula E tickets in general. The reason is, that on the ticket that is owned there is a QR code that is secret.
"Remember, the QR code on your ticket is confidential, aka no one should see it, you know. Because it can be misused by other parties or persons," wrote @jakartaeprixofficial
"So, be careful guys. Take care and don't just post your ticket," explained the statement on the official account.
