Through KSD And SF Information, Mataram Police Finally Arrests Fugitives In Drug Cases
MATARAM - Police arrested a fugitive suspected of being a drug dealer from Turida, Mataram City, West Nusa Tenggara with the initials AM.
"Our fugitive with the initials AM was arrested at an inn in the Lingsar area, West Lombok," said the Head of the Narcotics Investigation Unit (Satresnarkoba) of the Mataram Police Commissioner I Made Yogi Purusa Utama in Mataram, Antara, Thursday, May 26.
AM was arrested on Thursday morning. This disclosure began with the arrest of two men suspected of being involved in the AM distribution network for the Mataram City area. Both have the initials KSD and SF.
Yogi said the two perpetrators were arrested with 3.4 grams of crystal methamphetamine as evidence. From their confession, the illicit goods were obtained from a man with the initials SD from Central Lombok Regency.
The police then carried out developments by arresting an elementary school along with 60 grams of shabu-shabu as evidence. Through SD's confession, it was revealed the role of AM who was caught in one of the lodgings in the Lingsar area, West Lombok Regency.
"So this AM is a fugitive who has been on our wanted list for three weeks. At that time, his place in the Turida area was raided, but the person in question was not at the location," he said.

Now AM and members of the circulation network have been detained at the Mataram Police. The legal process for AM along with three other people is still in the process of intensive examination by investigators.
From this case, Yogi said that AM and the three perpetrators involved in the distribution of this type of methamphetamine were threatened with 20 years in prison.
The threat of punishment is in accordance with the criminal provisions in Article 112 paragraph 2, Article 114 paragraph 2, and Article 132 paragraph 1 of the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 35/2009 concerning Narcotics.
