Man's Body In Ciracas Left Abandoned At Home, Was Rejected By Hospital Because Residential Address Called Fictitious

JAKARTA - A viral video on social media shows a man who died at his house in East Jakarta. Unfortunately, there was no family to take care of the body.

The Head of Ciracas Police, Commissioner Jupriono, said the incident actually happened. He said the victim with the initials Y died because of the illness he was suffering from. The man is from Karawang.

"Yes, that's right. The victim died because of illness," said Jupriono when confirmed, Sunday, May 15.

Jupriono said that Y was brought by an ambulance belonging to the Army Housing Complex (KPAD). He was picked up from his residence in Tanah Garapan, next to the DPRD Lot, Ciracas, East Jakarta, Sunday, May 15, at 11.15 western Indonesia time.

However, because the address Y is judged to be fictitious. The hospital refused to treat him until he died at his home.

"The victim has been handled by the KPAD ambulance, because the victim's address was fictitious, then the victim was rejected, (returned to) the address of the mourning in the DPRD lot," he said.

Y's body will be buried by the Central Jakarta MPC at the Kampung Kandang Cemetery, Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta.

"The victim will be buried at the Kampung Kandang Cemetery Pasar Minggu by the Central Jakarta MPC," he said.
