JAKARTA - The 2021/2022 Coppa Italia final between Juventus versus Inter Milan at the Stadio Olimpico on Thursday, May 12 in the early hours of GMT+7 (Indonesian Time), was hot. Not only because of the increasing tension in the match, but also because of the incident that led to the expulsion of the Juventus coach, Massiliani Allegri.
In the duel that Inter Milan won 4-2, Allegri was involved in a dispute with Inter Milan's assistant coach, Massimiliano Farris before extra time ended. As a result, the former AC Milan coach was given a red card by the referee.
"Someone from Inter walked past and kicked me. I was angry and it's true that the referee sent me off," he told Sport Mediaset cited from Football Italia.
When he had to leave the field, Allegri chose to surrender and did not want to prolong the problem. "Finding out what happened won't change anything," he said.

Allegri then congratulated Inter Milan for winning the Coppa Italia this season. He also asked his team to bounce back next season after missing this year's title.
"We haven't won any trophies this season. We have to contain this anger for next season, when we have to get back to winning ways," said Allegri.
"It was a good performance, but we slipped towards the end. There were players who weren't fully fit and did everything they could."
"It's disappointing, but we can only thank them for their efforts," continued the Juventus coach.
