Targeting Settlements And Civilians, President Zelensky: Russia's Army Are The Most Barbaric And Most Inhumane

JAKARTA - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky called on the international community to increase military assistance to his country, calling Russian soldiers inhumane for targeting civilians.

According to President Zelensky, if Ukraine has weapons comparable to those used by Russia, the war between the two countries could last a long time because Ukraine's military superiority in tactics and wisdom is quite clear.

He further explained, the Russian military is deploying everything it has into Ukraine, with most of its combat-ready troops concentrated in the country and just across the border in Russia.

"They have mobilized almost everyone and everything in their power against us, against Ukraine," President Zelensky said in his evening video address.

Although Russia claims to have only attacked military sites, President Zelensky said they continue to target residential areas and kill civilians.

"Russian soldiers are blocking all efforts to regulate humanitarian corridors and save our people. They want to deport or even mobilize local residents who have fallen into their hands," he explained.

"The fate of at least tens of thousands of Mariupol residents who were previously transferred to Russian-controlled territory is unknown. The Russian army in this war wrote itself into world history forever as the most barbaric and inhumane army in the world," President Zelensky criticized.

He added that the Kremlin had not yet responded to a proposal to swap Viktor Medvedchuk, the imprisoned pro-Russian party leader, with Ukrainian soldiers in Mariupol.
