Mohamed Salah Is Furious With Media Speculation Over His Future At Liverpool

JAKARTA - Liverpool's Mohamed Salah is so angry that he doesn't want to discuss his future when asked about talks about a new contract with his club.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has said Salah and the club are discussing the Egyptian player's contract.

Ahead of today's crucial game against Manchester City, Salah was asked by Sky Sports about the possibility of agreeing with a contract extension at Liverpool.

"I can't say yes, I can't say no, but I've said many times before about what I want, but then again, I can't go deep into my current contract because it's a very sensitive situation. answered Wrong as quoted by ESPN.

"This team has to win and I can't just talk about my contract. I'm just focused on the team, and that's it."

Liverpool, who have already won the Carabao Cup this season, is still on track to win the Premier League and Champions League as well as the FA Cup.

Salah said it would be selfish if he only focused on his personal situation rather than his team.

"I can't be selfish and just discuss my situation", he said. "We are in the most important period, so I only have to talk about the team, focus on what will happen next with the team and that is the most important thing", said Salah.

"That's all I can say. Hopefully, we are more optimistic and wait for what will happen", concluded the player from Egypt.
