Netizens Protests About The Ministry Of Finance That Will Auction Goods For MotoGP Riders
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Finance delivered a decision that shocked MotoGP fans in the country. They stated that they would conduct an auction for the items given by the MotoGP riders during action at Mandalika on March 18-20.
This news then received a response from netizens, the majority of whom protested strongly. Netizens responded to the news with annoyance and said that the Ministry of Finance should not disturb the goods of the riders that are the rights of the audience.
"This is interesting and I just heard. Is it time for the government to take care of this? After all, it's people's fortune when it's regulated by the state, is it auctioned anyway? @KemenkueRI", said the account @husn****** marking the Ministry of Finance account.
"Items that already belong to fans, why are you even taking them for auction? @KemenkeuRI", wrote the account @cok****.
"This country has very little money or what? The goods are given to the audience/fans, how come they want to be auctioned by the state? @KemenkeuRI", said the account owner @awe****
Previously, the Head of the Regional Office of the Directorate General of Treasury (DJPb) West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), Sudarmanto, admitted that 11 items from the racers were given to fans and will be auctioned at the Mataram State Property and Auction Service Office (KPKNL).

While in Mandalika for the second series of MotoGP 2022, several riders had time to give racing equipment to the audience when race day was over.
The racers included Aleix Espargaro (Aprilia Racing) who gave helmets to the spectators in the stands. In addition, a racer from the Monster Energy Yamaha team, Fabio Quartararo, also threw his gloves at the spectators in the stands after the race on Sunday, March 20.
However, it was later discovered that the items from the MotoGP racers who were going to be auctioned off did not belong to the lucky fans. Rather, it was a gift that was intentionally given and signed by the racers for ITDC, MGPA, and the Ministry of Finance for charitable purposes.
