Polda Metro Thwarts Circulation Of 1,000 Ecstasy To Kampung Bahari, Bandar Besar Is Being Targeted

JAKARTA - Attempts to distribute 1,000 ecstasy pills to the Bahari village, North Jakarta, which is known as the drug village, failed. Because the police arrested a person with the initials AR who was suspected of being a courier.

"We have revealed that there are 1,000 items from the suspect AR", said Director of Narcotics Investigation of the Metro Jaya Police, Commissioner Mukti Juharsa, to reporters on Friday, March 25.

Based on the suspect's statement, the thousands of ecstasy will be distributed to Kampung Bahari. However, continued Mukti, his party did not know who the recipient would be.

"The suspect's statement will sell this item to Kampung Bahari. That's why we broke the chain first", said Mukti.

Investigators continue to investigate the case. Including hunting down the dealer who ordered AR to send the prohibited goods to Kampung Bahari.

"God willing, we will arrest the big port in Kampung Bahari. Hopefully next week we can reveal it", said Mukti.

For information, Metro Jaya Police and Metro-North Jakarta Police raided Kampung Bahari, North Jakarta, on Wednesday, March 9. During the raid, 26 people were arrested and seized various types of narcotics.

A day later, the Palmerah Police raided Boncos Village. Five people were arrested.
