KNPB Chairman Buchtar Tabuni Arrested In Walker Camp Area In Papua

PAPUA - The chairman of the West Papua National Committee (KNPB), an organization that seeks to separate Papua from the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI), Buchtar Tabuni, has been arrested.

Buchtar Tabuni was arrested in the Walker Camp area, Jayapura, Papua, Thursday, March 24.

Papuan Police Chief Inspector General Mathius D Fakhiri confirmed the arrest. A full report on the chronology of the arrests will be submitted later.
