KPU Already Holds Vote-Counting Simulations, It's Strange If There Are Still Issues On Postponed Election

Thus, Ilham emphasized that the election organizers were not affected by the issue of delaying the 2024 election.
"I just want to give an underline that this is a form of the seriousness of the KPU for the 2017-2022 period to prepare and continue the stages of the 2024 election. So, there is no longer any question about postponing the election," Ilham said at the KPU RI office, Tuesday, March 22.
Ilham emphasized that the KPU works according to the constitution and existing laws and regulations. Now, the KPU for the 2017-2022 period is concentrating on preparing the plan for holding the 2024 General Election so that the KPU for the 2022-2027 period can run it smoothly.

In the second model, there are three ballot boxes and three ballots. The ballot papers for the election of the President and Vice President are combined with the DPR RI, the ballot papers for the DPD RI, and the ballot papers for the Provincial DPRD are combined with the Regency/Municipal DPRD.
"Currently we are making 2 models of ballots. So, this is our effort to make it easier for the public so that the voting process will be simpler and simpler," said Ilham.
"This is our anticipation in order to avoid incidents such as the 2019 Election, where there are victims, illness, and so on. Also avoids the error factor in form C," he continued.
