Game Development Company Bandai Namco, Donates 12.5 Billion To Support Ukraine

JAKARTA - Bandai Namco announced on Saturday, March 12, that it will donate 100 million yen or around IDR 12.5 billion to the charity Save the Children to support Ukraine.

Launching from its website, Save the Children provides humanitarian assistance to Ukraine through services in the form of food, money, as well as therapy programs.

"We hope the people and communities affected by this crisis can return to the days of peace as soon as possible", Bandai Namco wrote in a statement.

Save the Children first started operating in Ukraine in 2014 and has undertaken many projects to help children in crisis there.

During the conflict with Russia, Save the Children has worked closely with local organizations to distribute necessities to people affected by the crisis in Ukraine.

Apart from Bandai Namco, other companies that have donated money to help Ukraine are Koei Tecmo Holdings and The Pokemon Company.

Yoko Taro also announced that he would donate a portion of his merchandise sales to Ukraine. CD Projekt Red and 11-bit Studios also made donations, while Necrosoft Games organized a charity package.
