Liverpool Lose To Inter, Salah: In Next Game I Scored Three Goals
JAKARTA - Liverpool striker Mohamed Salah said he was disappointed with the result of the match against Inter which ended 0-1. But, then Salah felt this defeat could force the Reds to learn from mistakes for the next game.
Not only that, the Egyptian national team player also revealed a determination for himself to be able to score a hat-trick in the next match. Because in this match, he twice failed to execute the opportunity to become a goal.
"My (attempt) hit the post twice. Does not matter. Maybe in the next game, I will score three goals," Salah was quoted as saying by Tribal Football.
In the meeting with Inter Milan in the second leg of the 2021/2022 Champions League last 16, Liverpool bowed at home after Lautaro Martinez scored the only goal in 61 minutes.
For Salah, this defeat at Anfield Stadium should be a moment of learning for Liverpool so as not to repeat the mistake in the next match.
"We lost the game and maybe it will put pressure on us and it's a good game to learn from," Salah continued.
