9 Hours At The Criminal Investigation Unit, Investigators Explore Vanessa Khong And Indra Kenz's Business

JAKARTA - Investigators from the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Indonesian National Police have investigated Indra Kenz's lover and his fiancé, Vanessa Khong, in the case of suspected binary options trading investment fraud through the Binomo application.

During the examination, investigators explored the relationship and business that he had built with the suspect in the Binomo case. The goal is to find out the source of the funds' flow of both money.

"(Inspection, red) Regarding the personal and business relationship with the suspect IK", said Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Public Relations Division, Commissioner Gatot Repli Handoko, to reporters on Wednesday, March 9.

Gatot said, investigators questioned Vanessa with 20 questions. Where Vanessa Khong's examination process took about 9 hours.

"Vanessa Khong has been examined from 11.00 WIB to 20.15 WIB with 20 questions", said Gatot.

Meanwhile, for the examination of Rudianto Pei, who is Indra Kenz's future father-in-law, investigators have rescheduled it for next week. Because he wasn't there because he was sick.

"Rudianto has been rescheduled and is ready to attend on Tuesday, March 15, 2022", said Gatot.

The Criminal Investigation Police previously said that the examination of Indra Kenz's fiancé, Vanessa Khong, was to investigate whether there was a flow of funds received by them from the case being investigated.

"Information will be taken regarding each of the criminal cases and their relation to the flow of funds, whether they flow to their accounts", said the Head Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan.

The examination of the two is an effort by investigators to investigate money laundering crimes (TPPU). This is because investigators have started the process of confiscation of assets suspected of being the proceeds of fraud under the guise of Binomo.

"Including the assets of the flow of funds distributed by IK to people, this will be investigated later", said Ramadhan.
