Floods Never Relieve, Tangerang Regent Collaborates With TNI To Carry Out Normalization

TANGERANG - Tangerang Regent, Zaki said, the flood that hit 660 families (KK) in Pakuhaji District, Tangerang Regency had not subsided for three days.

"The flooding here is due to overflowing river water, so there needs to be normalization and we will coordinate it later," said Zaki.

Therefore, Zaki explained that his party would cooperate with the TNI to take steps to accelerate the normalization of rivers and creeks in the northern coastal area of Tangerang through a community service program.

"If you look at the current flood locations in Tangerang Regency, they are downstream or in the northern area where rivers and tributaries are about to enter the sea," Zaki told reporters in Pakuhaji, Tangerang Regency, Thursday, January 20.

For the southern area where the river is upstream, everything has been handled, for example, Binong, Curug, Tigaraksa to the Pasar Kemis area to Kresek have started to be handled.

"Only live in the northern region, namely Teluknaga, Kosambi and also a few more Kemiri," said Zaki.

"Alhamdulillah, from the results of the two-day monitoring, even the third day, only areas downstream or on the coast are still flooded," he said.

Previously, it was reported that as many as 660 families in Pakuhaji District, Tangerang Regency were affected by the flood. In this area the water level reaches 90 centimeters, exceeding the knee of an adult.

However, many residents in Pakuhaji Village still survive in their respective homes.
