Dragged By The Train To The Platform Of Pondok Cina Station, The Body Of The Woman Of UI Faculty Of Pharmacy Is Difficult To Identify

DEPOK – A student was killed when she was hit by a commuter line train at the Pondok Cina station crossing, Beji, Depok. The victim died on the spot in a horrific condition.

Kapolsek Beji Kompol Agus Khaeron said the victim's initials BM (24) member of BEM UI Faculty of Pharmacy was hit by a KRL majoring in Jakarta - Bogor. BM's body was dragged up to 25 meters.

"The driver guarding the crossing gate has been given a warning sign and shouted that the train was approaching, but from the witness's testimony that the victim was still crossing, she did not have time to avoid being hit and dragged up to 25 meters", said Agus Khaeron to reporters, Thursday, January 20.

Commissioner Agus said the accident was discovered at around 13.05 WIB. The position of the engineer officer had closed the doorstop but the victim was still crossing.

"The victim was hit by the commuter line 1676 train heading Jakarta - Bogor. The victim's body was dragged 25 meters to the platform of Pondok Cina Station until the victim's body could not be recognized", he said.

The perpetrator's belongings, which were stored in the Abu bag color, continued Kompol Agus, in the form of two Samsung brand cellphones and a pink wallet containing the victim's identity and IDR 78 thousand in cash.

"We have secured the victim's belongings that were scattered at the location and taken to the Police. The identity card of the victim that we found contained an identification card (KTP), the victim's ID as a member of the BEM UI Faculty of Pharmacy staff of the arts and culture department", Agus explained.

The body was then taken to the Kramat Jati Police Hospital using an ambulance.
