The suspect also asked for a gold necklace belonging to the victim on the grounds that it was a guarantee that the victim had never worked abroad. The suspect also asked for a handy talky (HT) belonging to the victim.

"The suspect then ordered the victim to clean the house because at around 18.00 western Indonesia time the masks would come and the suspect left the victim's house," he said.

30 minutes later, the victim's father came from the Tempel Post Office and looked for the suspect's whereabouts because the post office did not find the brochure the suspect was referring to.

"The victim and his mother and father are aware that they have been victims of fraud and have tried to find the suspect but have not been able to find them," he said.

For this incident, continued Aron, the victim suffered a loss of around Rp9 million and reported the incident to the Srumbung Police.
