PDIP: The Progress Of DKI Is Far Below The Era Of Jokowi, Ahok And Djarot
JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Pilkada (Election of Regional Heads) is still a long way off. But PDIP, through Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto, already has an assessment of how DKI is performing under the leadership of Governor Anies Baswedan.
PDIP is not going to focus for the first time on the 2024 Simultaneous Pilkada. However, PDIP already has a firm stance. As a start, PDIP chose to work hard first to win the 2024 General Election, with more going down to the community.
"The simultaneous local elections are still in 2024, after the legislative and presidential elections", said Hasto, Thursday, January 6.
That way, when asked about the name of the candidate, of course, PDIP has not decided yet. PDIP prefers to prepare the party machine so that it works optimally. The trick is to continue to encourage the consolidation of party cadres and sympathizers with the people.
"So for the PDI-P, the best strategic steps taken by the Party is to work downwards, to stabilize the entire political machine of the Party", said Hasto.
Now, for Jakarta, Hasto said that PDIP was indeed designing ideas about the future of DKI. The aim is to accelerate the development of Jakarta.
"Because practically the progress in the last few years is still far below the progress when DKI was led by Mr. Jokowi, Mr. Ahok, and Mr. Djarot", concluded Hasto.
