In Front Of Marine Corps Soldier, KSAL Yudo Margono: Show Marines Are Able To Carry Out Tasks

JAKARTA - The Chief of Naval Staff (KSAL) Admiral Yudo Margono appreciated the Marine Corps fighters for their work during 2021 who had carried out their duties well.

The appreciation was conveyed by KSAL Yudo during a sporting event with Marine Corps soldiers in the Jakarta area, at the Hartono Bhumi Marine Corps, Cilandak, South Jakarta, Tuesday, January 4.

Yudo hopes that the success of the Marine Corps in War Military Operations (OMP) and Military Operations Other Than War (OMSP), such as assisting the government in implementing PPKM, health protocols, conducting isolation, and treating sick people.

In addition, achievements in the field of sports both at the national and international levels during 2021 can be maintained and improved by the Marine Corps Soldiers in the future.

The former Pangkogabwilhan I advised that as the younger generation, soldiers must be able to realize the ideals and dreams of what their predecessors had aspired to.

"Let's make it happen, let's show the country that the Marines are able to carry out their duties, are able to maintain sovereignty, and help the government and the country's safety from any disturbance," Yudo said as quoted by Antara.

As modern soldiers, he added, Marine Corps soldiers must be able to take the initiative and change for the advancement of the Navy and Marine Corps. Yudo reminded to always exercise in order to improve the physical fitness of each soldier because health begins with one's own will.

The sporting activity which was attended by the main Headquarters officials, Mako Kormar officials, Pasmar-1 officials, and Kolak Kormar officials began with SKJ 88 Gymnastics, followed by tennis, badminton and golf at The Commander Golf.
