Ahead Of Facing Wolves, Rangnick Shares The Latest News From The MU Squad

JAKARTA - Manchester United coach, Ralf Rangnick announced the condition of his squad ahead of facing Wolves in the 21st week of the 2021/2022 Premier League.

Rangnick also brings good news regarding several players who have recently been widely rumored to be leaving the club. One of them is Anthony Martial.

"Our squad may be too big, but some of our players are still having problems with COVID-19 and we are still playing in three tournaments", Rangnick told Sky Sport.

"Martial has stated that he wants to leave and I understand his condition. But again this is not just a matter of his desire", he continued.

Rangnick then gave good news regarding the position of Edinson Cavani and Paul Pogba. Both players' contracts are set to expire in June 2022, but Rangnick has confirmed Cavani and Pogba will not be sold in the January transfer window.

"I know several players want to leave. We've spoken with Cavani, and he knows I won't let him go. We're still playing in three tournaments, so obviously we really need Cavani. For me it's very clear, Cavani has to stay", said Rangnick.

On the other hand, Bruno Fernandes has also returned to the team's training center on Sunday, January 2, England time. The Portuguese player previously missed the Red Devils' 3-1 win over Burnley at the end of December 2021 due to yellow card accumulation.

The match between Manchester United and Wolves will take place on Tuesday morning at 00.30 WIB. In that match, it was MU's turn to be the host and this opportunity will be used by Rangnick's team to pick up three points at home.
