Residential Documents Of Ex-KKP Minister Become Fried Food Wrap, PKS Asks Ministry Of Home Affairs To Improve Itself
JAKARTA - Member of the PKS faction, Mardani Ali Sera, asked the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemandagri) to improve itself, following the viral upload of a citizen showing the residence documents of former Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (KKP) Susi Pudjiastuti being used as a fried package.
Because according to him, the Ministry of Home Affairs is the party directly responsible for the population document. "This is the time for all parties, especially the Ministry of Home Affairs, to improve themselves," said Mardani, Wednesday, December 29.
Furthermore, the member of Commission II of the DPR assessed that Indonesia needed to immediately switch to digital documents. The reason is, similar incidents will continue to repeat in the future given the number of documents owned by a citizen.
"First, something like this will happen if we don't move to digital documents immediately. Lots of documents are produced. Meanwhile, the place, procedure, and the person in charge of these physical documents are not balanced," said Mardani.
Regarding Susi's population data which was used as fried food wrap, according to the chairman of the PKS DPP, the incident still had to be investigated carefully. This is not only knowing the chronology and who is responsible, but it is important to make improvements to the method as to what to do.
"If you only solve this problem without touching the root, then similar cases will always arise," said Mardani.
